Damien technologies, founded in 1920, is manufacturing spot welders, arc stick welders, MIG welders and air compressors.
Since 1993 Damien has been resolutely investing in R&D, and is working closely with its partner high tech R&D company Physique & industrie leader in power electronics development.
Damien is now the uncontested leader in resistance welding, and designed the most innovative spot welding units based on the exclusive patented 6.5kHz "Blade Inverter".

The head-quarters and production site of Damien is located in Saint-Vallier, south Burgundy, France. The 3000mē (27,000 square ft) building encompasses the following departments :

• manufacturing where the welding units are assembled
• test & quality where each machine is carefully tested and inspected before shipment.
• warehouse storing and managing all the parts, necessary to build the machines.
• prototype development where the new product introduction prototypes are tested.
• technical support hotline customer support. Handles the on site repairing.

The R&D company Physique & industrie is located in Dijon, Burgundy, France. The 1000mē (9,000 square ft) building encompasses the following departments :

• research & development lab a team of experimented engineers develops the new technologies for tomorrow's welding machines using the state of the art of power electronics, analog & digital electronics.
• Mechanical design engineering each mechanical part of the machine is designed on 3D CAD Software, which performs thermal and stress analysis.
• Electronics design engineering designs the control interface PC boards, write the microprocessor firmware that controls the machine.
• prototype development the first prototypes are tweaked and intensively tested.

The R&D company Physique & industrie USA is located in Rohnert Park, California, USA. This office performs R&D engineering and customer support for DAMIEN's U.S. Customers.
